Mission
ITAV Chicago was established to give Chicago’s inner city youth an opportunity to break out of the bleak statistics that many of them fall into through building CONFIDENCE, WORK ETHIC, and SELF-VALUE. We have identified that hard work and discipline in the weight room is highly effective in this endeavor.
As such, our organization takes a two-pronged approach. First, we provide top quality weight rooms to underprivileged communities. Second and most importantly, we engage in ongoing physical training and mentorship for the youth.
While our efforts center on physical training education, the end result of our facilities and programs will provide lifelong benefits to students far beyond the physical realm.
